How to Use Carefree Protector Flexiform 30 U

Carefree Protector Flexiform 30 U is a non-hormonal intrauterine contraceptive system. The device is inserted into the uterus of a woman or a female person with a uterus. It provides up to 30 days of continuous contraception.

Insertion of Carefree Protector Flexiform 30 U

1. Your doctor or healthcare provider will administer the device and provide you with instructions for use.
2. You may be required to lie down on your back, in a semi-sitting position.
3. Your doctor or healthcare provider will assess your uterus by doing an ultrasound or X-ray.
4. They will use a speculum to open the vagina to gain access to the cervix.
5. The device is inserted into the uterus through the cervix using an insertion tube. It is recommended that you stay lying down or on your side for around 5 minutes after insertion.
6. Your doctor or healthcare provider will check to ensure that the device has been properly inserted and look for any signs of infection.
7. You can remove the device yourself after the 30-day period is over.

2. You may be required to lie down on your back again, in a semi-sitting position.
3. Your doctor or healthcare provider will assess your uterus by doing an ultrasound or X-ray.
4. They will use a speculum to open the vagina to gain access to the cervix.
5. The device is removed by using an insertion tube with a small loop attached to it. The loop is placed around the device and gently pulled to remove it.
6. Your doctor or healthcare provider will check to ensure that the device has been properly removed and look for any signs of infection.
